VIEW OUR JULY 2024 PUBLIC EXHIBITION

We have now launched the exhibition material for the two public consultation events that we are holding on 16 July at Nishkam School (5-8:30pm) and on 20 July at Marlborough Primary School (10:30-2pm).

This community update has been prepared to give you the latest news and update you on some minor amendments we plan to make on the Homebase development in response to recent changes in regulations.

If you can’t join us in person and would like to view the material, please download the exhibition material below.

We very much look forward to meeting you and hearing your feedback on these proposals for the community. If you cannot make one of the events, please head to the Get In Touch page and reach out to us with your thoughts.

Alternatively, please view the exhibition material below and fill in a feedback form by submitting it to syonlane.consultation@berkeleygroup.co.uk

July 2024 Update

St Edward Homes would like to invite you to find out about progress with the redevelopment of the Tesco and Homebase stores on Syon Lane.

Planning permission was granted in December 2023 creating an exciting opportunity to deliver a brand new Tesco Extra superstore, up to 2,150 new low carbon homes, including 35% (up to 750) affordable homes, new community spaces, a new park and shops.

We are planning to hold exhibitions on Tuesday 16 July and Saturday 20 July so that you can hear about the next steps for the developments, and share your views about some minor amendments we’re planning to make to the Homebase development in response to recent updates in regulations.

If you can’t make one of these events and would like to speak to us at another time please just get in touch via the contact details below. Full details are contained in the leaflet which you can download below.

We very much look forward to meeting you and hearing your feedback on these proposals for the community.

June 2024 Update

As we look forward to the future of these sites, we’re planning a range of public engagement activities to keep local residents informed and involved in the development process. We’ll provide further updates on these activities in the coming months by sending out flyers, but do feel free to sign up to our subscription link under ‘Get in touch’ below or check back on this website occasionally.

In the meantime, you may have noticed hoarding being placed around the perimeter of the Homebase site. This is because Homebase vacated their store at the end of April, and the hoarding is being installed to secure the site.

It’s important to note that construction has not yet commenced as we continue to plan for the delivery of the development. We’ll be in touch with the community to let you know before any construction begins.

We look forward to meeting many of you in the near future and if you have any questions and would like to speak with us in the meantime, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
